Pharmacy Management

ASC’s customers may use any pharmacy management program they choose, or theypmoa.png may use the services of ASC’s preferred vendor, PMOA, Inc. 

ASC’s goal is to maximize the utilization of a pharmacy benefit network. All ASC offices receive a monthly report on the utilization of a pharmacy network, and PMOA discusses best practices to improve utilization monthly through a webinar. 

Our goal is to have 90% of all prescriptions filled through the network.  Best practices sharing has uncovered the following improvement opportunities:

  • Streamlined injury reporting which delivers the right information to the pharmacy to capture the first fill.
  • Coordinating responses to non-compliant pharmacies and physicians to change behaviors using the adjuster, the pharmacy network, and the employer to correct non-compliance.

PMOA offers home delivery, a retail pharmacy program, and a web portal for easy assignment and report generation.
