Pet Food Maker Sunshine Mills, Inc. Awards Workers’ Compensation
Claims Services To ASC
Nashville, Tennessee (February 25, 2009) – Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a full-service, workers’ compensation and property & casualty third party claims administrator, announced that Sunshine Foods, Inc., makers of pet foods and treats, has awarded workers’ compensation claims management services to ASC.
With this program, Sunshine Foods will receive immediate claims service that provides compensation medical care to employees injured on-the-job at one of the company’s three manufacturing plants. The overall goal of ASC’s workers’ compensation administrative program is to quickly care for the employee through comprehensive medical treatment while providing encouragement with a return-to-work plan. ASC’s Mobile, Alabama office will administer claims for their Red Bay, Alabama and Tupelo, Mississippi plants. Sunshine Foods Halifax, Virginia plant will be serviced from our Pikeville, Kentucky facility.
