New York Bill Would Require Notification If Claim Representative Change Is Made
On October 19th, 2018, a NY State Assemblymember introduced Bill A11372 which relates to notification in the case of a change to the workers' compensation claims representative.
The bill would require insurers to notify workers when their claims representative has changed. "A change in a claims rep, without prompt notification to the employee, has long been a point of frustration for claimants and their attorneys," said Assemblywoman Amy Paulin.
