Proposed Oregon Bill To Address Substantial Work Comp Changes

House Bill 3022 would rewrite 20 specific statutes in the workers’ compensation law by State of Oregon lawmakers. Authors of the bill are seeking the amended bill as an emergency bill which would take effect upon signature/passage.

The newly amended House Bill 3022 includes substantial changes that would require employers to quickly approve or deny care, improve notices to injured workers and bar reductions in permanent disability awards due to pre-existing conditions.
