More States Are Adopting Drug Formularies in 2019
In an effort to improve pharmacy care received by injured workers in Montana and Kentucky, these two states are adopting ODG drug formularies effective April 1 (Montana) and July 1 (Kentucky). Both states are new additions to states such as Ohio, Texas, and Washington who adopted their drug formularies in the prior year.
New York and Nebraska aren't too far behind. New York has revised a draft of their drug formulary with comments accepted to the Board through February 22nd, and Nebraska legislation is aiming for a drug formulary to go into effect January 1, 2020.
